TCR Sport Lab |
The Challenge
TCR
Sport lab is a Calgary based Endurance Sport Consulting
Agency with approximately 200 clients. In order to manage
their client base and work flow
effectively, TCR required a system that would accomplish
the following objectives:
- Manage client data through web based database.
- Make client data and reports available through
web based location.
- Improve company processes to avoid redundant tasks
and move information to a web ready format to minimize
administrative load on TCR management and employee
base.
- Improve client offering through visually appealing
interface.
Our Solution
Stretch Media built a new Internet application with
a full-featured, untuitive user interface to streamline
events management. The application highlights Stretch
media's ability to present users with an easy-to-use,
visually appealing environment that helps speed up
the events management process.
The Results
TCR's new Internet application speeds up and simplifies
the the event management process for both athletes
and coaches. This helps reduce extra effort for TCR's
staff by minimizing the amount of time needed to manage
events, define recurring events, add progressive entries
and include workout resources.

Bridgewerx
|
The Challenge
Bridgewerx needed a tool for integrating applications.
Our Solution
Adobe Flex was used to create the Bridgewerx Designer.
The application uses an intuitive “drag and
drop” interface, identifying what needs to
be integrated. These could be two internal applications,
databases, or even connections to external trading
partners. Our roles were to design an intuitive
user interface and to build the mapping component
(used to create data transformations).
The Results
The mapping component creates a visual map outlining
how an integration will work and how the various
elements will interact. The mapping canvas makes
it easy to view exactly how the integration will
work and define any required transformation.

City of Calgary
|
The Challenge
Build a demo Traveller Information System (511) for online
road conditions, traffic incidents, construction
project information and up-to-the-minute traffic
camera images.
Our Solution
Adobe Flash was used to build a custom pan and zoom
tool integrated with a detailed map of the city.
Since the map was so large and detailed we added
decluttering so panning remained smooth. The tabbed
design and clean layout allows users to easily
jump from current traffic reports to live traffic
cameras to parking information.
The Results
This project was ahead of its time, it was built in
2005, well before Yahoo Maps or Google Earth made
their appearances. The demo made a great impression
with civic officials and influenced the design of
the 511 traffic system.
